Marathon Number 13 I’m ready for you! • I’ve put zero pressure on myself for this race. With the heat, having done Paris Marathon only two weeks ago and wanting to enjoy my favourite race (3 times in 3 years!) the aim of a PB is long gone. • If you’re out running tomorrow or many of the incredible people spectating if you see me give me a shout. The Morning Coffee Run is written in big white letters on the back of my shirt for all your runners overtaking me so tap me on the shoulder and say hi. • Massive good luck to first time marathoners, you’ll remember tomorrow for the rest of your life. London was my first in 2016 and I loved every minute of it. So smile for the cameras, listen to your body but most of all enjoy it. Try to take in the atmosphere as it’s nothing you will have experienced before. • This is your final victory lap after all those miles of training. Good luck! • #londonmarathon #londonmarathon2018

Still completely in shock about my win last night at The Running Awards and so incredibly touched by all the thank you messages today. • Never in a million years did I think I would win but thanks to all of you on here, my amazing blog subscribers and my ever supportive friends and family I now take this crazily heavy trophy everywhere with me. • I was so busy celebrating that @baze187 had won bronze that when my name was called I was stunned. So happy to share our wins together. • The biggest thanks of all has to go to my partner who is not only my proof reader at times but also my sounding board and reality checker. • I’ll be posting a blog entry about it all next week but now it’s time for LONDON MARATHON!!! • @therunningawards

☀️HOT HOT HOT☀️ • Went out on the heat of the day to prepare my body for the possible 24 degrees forecasted for the London Marathon. I managed fine but this was only a 5k and now I’m a sweaty mess! • Just makes me more convinced that I should take it as slow as possible and just enjoy the day. • #londonmarathon #vlm2018 #spiritoflondon
