This in an old photograph of mine but I thought it would work well as an artistic interlude to my blog posts that have become few and far between in the last few months. I will endeavour to get one of my penciled inklings up online soon.
In the mean time this photograph was taken on the South Bank in London and while his paintings might well have been bordered with inspirational speeches and filled with famed leaders the artist himself felt anything but empowered by those he was recreating.
His reply when I asked why he chose to paint them, “beliefs are easy to fool”.
